Chief Rabbi A. I. HaCohen Kook today expressed great happiness when informed by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency of the signing of the Zionist peace pact in London.
“I heartily welcome peace in Zionism,” the Chief Rabbi told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. “I have always lamented the conflicts and attempted pacification. In the future I will be glad to assist in conciliation generally and specifically, whenever I am asked.”
The Chief Rabbi sent his heartiest congratulations to David Ben Gurion and Vladimir Jabotinsky who negotiated the London agreement.
