A protest against the anti-Jewish defamations issued by Julius Streicher, notorious Jew-baiter, in his publications was voiced today by the Reichsvertretung, the representative body of German Jewry, over the signatures of Chief Rabbi Dr. Leo Beck and Dr. Hirsch.

The protest is concerned with Streicher’s recent allegations “that the Social Democratic leader Max Braun is a Jew and was acting in the Saar under Jewish orders.”
