The Chief Rabbinate Council under Chief Rabbis Yitzhak Nissim and Isser Yehuda Unterman, called upon rabbis throughout the world today to devote their sermons on Saturday, February 5 to the encouragement of immigration to Israel.
The call emphasizes the role which Jewish immigration to Israel is playing in the development of the country. It was issued while the Zionist Actions Committee is now in session here discussing problems of immigration and absorption of the immigrants.
