A marked decrease in the mortality rate of infants and children up to the age of four is reported here by the Hadassah Medical Organization after a survey made in five Infant Welfare Stations in Jerusalem.
The survey shows that among 4,513 children registered in 1934 in these stations, there were 133 deaths, which is approximately three per cent, as compared with five per cent in 1931.
