The Chilean Parliament has endorsed a resolution by the Israeli Knesset condemning the May 30 Lydda Airport massacre. The text of the resolution was brought to the Senate and House of Representatives by the Israeli Ambassador, Moshe Tov. After debating the matter, both houses officially informed the Chilean Foreign Minister of a declaration of solidarity with the Knesset.
Memorial services for the massacre victims were held at the Circulo Israelita, the largest synagogue here.
