An industrial and trade delegation, led by China’s deputy minister for trade and industry, has spent a week in Israel examining joint civilian commercial relations.
The six-member Chinese delegation is investigating possible cooperation in the spheres of communications and computer software and hardware, as well as in micro-electronic systems, with Israel Aircraft Industries and other high-technology concerns.
The group was hosted by the Eisenberg Group, which sparked Israeli-Chinese trade relations years before the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries.
