The Christian-Jewish Brotherhood here issued a public statement today deploring the discriminations against Soviet Jewry.
The statement was signed by the Rev. Adam Sesa, a Protestant; Dr. Carlos Cucchetti, a Catholic priest; and Chief Rabbi Guillermo Schlesinger. The protest cited the ban on Hebrew Bibles, the shortage of synagogues in the USSR, and the difficulties, as well as flat prohibition in some sections of Russia this year, on matzoh for Passover.
