Christian leaders in the Holy Land reportedly launched a campaign to protest Israel’s role in the construction of a mosque in the Israeli town of Nazareth. After two years of tensions, Israel brokered a compromise agreement that would allow a mosque smaller than one originally planned to be built in the town revered by Christians as the boyhood home of Jesus.
