A resolution deploring the recent spread of anti-Semitic and other hate literature in this area was adopted today by the presbytery of the United Church of Halton, Ont., a town 25 miles west of Toronto.
“We deplore,” stated the resolution, “the anti-Semitism indicated by the distribution of certain literature bearing the mast-head of the ‘Christian Association of Union, New Jersey’ and in various other ways during recent days. We deplore even more deeply the lack of Christian charity which these actions express. We assure our Jewish brethren of our fellowship and of our desire for a fuller expression of brotherhood among all men, whatever their race or creed.”
