A Jewish Mission committee report of the Church of Scotland declared today that Christianity was no longer considered by Jews to be the archenemy of the Jewish religion.
The report, which will be presented next week before the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh, stated also that the intense antagonism of Jews toward representatives of the Christian churches “has obviously abated, and the centuries-old wall of separation between Jews and Christians is not nearly as strong as it was in the former European ghettoes.”
