A church preference survey will be made in September by Protestant, Catholic and Jewish groups here to determine the preference of each family. All religious organizations will be asked to join in the canvass. It is expected that the survey will be followed by a community-wide “Back to the Church or Synagogue” movement in which a campaign will be undertaken to get all citizens to go to church or synagogue.
