Other business took precedence and prevented a vote on accepting or rejecting the report today. When it comes up later, leading liberals threaten to rip it apart and demand a new committee. The present body consists of three bishops and nine laymen. The latter include former United States Senator George Wharton Pepper of Pennsylvania, and General C. P. Summerall, former United States Army Chief of Staff.
