The responsibility of the Christian churches to the Jewish people will be the chief topic at a two-day conference of the American Committee on the Christian Approach to the Jews, sponsored by the Home Missions Council of North America. The parley opened today with speakers and panel discussion leaders including the following:
Israel delegate to the United Nations, Aubrey S. Eban; Rabbi Elmer Berger, general secretary of the American Council for Judaism; Mrs. Moses P. Epstein, president of Hadassah; Dr. Leo Baeck, president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism; and Dr. Glora Wysner, secretary of the International Missionary Council.
