A total of 1,503 new members was added to the roster of the Jewish Community Center Associatoin in a membership drive, just closed. The campaign went over the top not only in the number of new members enrolled, but also in t he membership dues collected, which will more than suffice to meet the modest budget set for the current year.
Warren J. Heldman, president of the J. C. C. A., announced the election of Julian S. Rauh as an honorary member of the executive committee-the first person to be so honored-in recognition of his fine service as leader of the drive. Appreciation was expressed for the part played in the campaign by Dr. Philip R. Goldstein, director of campaigns of the Jewish Welfare Board.
