The works of two Cincinnati Jewish composers will have their world premiere this Sunday at a concert of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
Rabbi James G. Heller of Isaac M. Wise Temple is the composer of two numbers for voice and string orchestra, “Elegie” and “Pastorale,” to be performed by the orchestra with a soprano soloist. The orchestra will also play “Two Oriental Dances” by Vladimir Bakaleinikoff, assistant conductor of the orchestra.
