Citizens Arrested by F.b.i. for Speeches at Pro-nazi Meeting

Ellis O. Jones, a notorious anti-Semite who has been very active recently in Nazi and isolationist circles in California, was taken into custody last night by F.B.I. agents.

He, together with Robert Noble and Miss Leone Lee, all of whom are American citizens, were arrested by the federal agents at a meeting of 200 persons at the Embassy club here, where speeches were delivered attacking President Roosevelt.

Noble, who according to police records was arrested as a deserter during the last war, was charged with sedition. The charges against the others were not specified.
