The Jewish population of Cardiff, Wales, has become alarmed over the growing wave of anti-Semitism which has swept over the city, the London Daily Herald declared today.
According to the report, hotels, clubs and restaurants are refusing to admit Jewish guests, while a country club near Cardiff has barred Jews from becoming members. A group of Jews desiring to visit the club were refused admittance and the application of a local doctor for membership was rejected when it was discovered he is Jewish.
Victor Rothschild, member of the banking family, was recently turned out of a London roadhouse when it was found he is Jewish. In Leicester huge anti-Jewish slogans were painted on walls in the city.
