The Nazi Party has ordered house-to-house registration of the Berlin population, newspapers reported today, in the three categories of Nazi Party members, non-members of the party and Jews. The city will be divided into blocks, each under control of a commissioner responsible for registration in his block.
It was reported that this classification was being made to distinguish between preferred and non-preferred elements of the population in the event that rationing of supplies should become necessary.
