Clearing committees will be established in Warsaw and Tel Aviv to administer the new Poland-Palestine clearing agreement permitting Jewish emigrants to export capital to the Holy Land, it was disclosed today by Isaac Gruenbaum, who signed the agreement in behalf of the Jewish Agency for Palestine.
The pact covers exchange of goods, the clearing of funds for Zionist causes collected in Poland and tourist traffic, Mr. Gruenbaum told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency the Jewish Agency and the Anglo-Palestine Bank would establish a firm to supervise the clearing.
