The story of the clashes between cultures in American history, the rise and fall of subversive movements, such as the Know-Nothings, the American Protective Association and the Ku Klux Klan, and the history of the rise of the spirits of religious liberty will be told in “All in the Name of God” a book by Dr. Everett R. Clinchy, director of National Conference of Jews and Christians, which the John Day Company will publish November 1. The book also describes certain techniques for the promotion of justice, amity, understanding and cooperation among the groups which compose the American commonwealth.
