A second disastrous fire in Borscha was prevented today when a sudden cloudburst quenched a fire in the woods surrounding the town. With the flames creeping up on the town the populace was already in the streets prepared to flee. It is as yet unknown how the fire in the woods started. The population of Borscha, especially the Jewish population, is in dire straits as a result of the incendiary fire early last month which destroyed hundreds of houses, did damage estimated at $300,000 and left more than a thousand people homeless.
