Dr. Oscar I. Janowsky last night opened a training course in club leadership at the Ninety-second Street Y.M.H.A. His audience heard an address on “The International Jewish Scene.”
The course is being offered for the purpose of recruiting and training leaders in group work. Two sessions will be held each Thursday evening for fifteen weeks. It is sponsored by the Metropolitan League of Jewish Community Associations.
Among those slated to lecture are Herman Bernstein, journalist and former United States Minister to Albania; Prof. Charles Cranford of the physical education department, New York University; Prof. Arthur L. Swift of Union Theological Seminry, and Dr. Charles S. Bernheimer, director of studies of the Jewish Welfare Board.
