For the first time in L.I.U. history, a coed will serve as editor-in-chief of an official student publication. Edith Ducker, 1417 AvenueK, Brooklyn, has been elected to edit Sound, yearbook of the College of Arts and Sciences, during 1934-35. Abraham Auerbach, 1023 East Twelfth street, Brooklyn, who led the entire student-body in scholastic ranking during the first semester of 1933-34, was elected business manager of Sound. The post of editor-in-chief of Seawanhaka for next year will be filled for a second time by Oscar Mittelman, 327 East Ninth street.
Elected “to serve for the rest of their natural lives,” alumni officers of the recently graduated Class of 1934 were announced Friday by Lester Waldman, president of the L.I.U. association. Sidney Reisberg, 231 Second avenue, Manhattan, is president; Jerome Harris, 911 Whitlock avenue, Bronx, vice-president; Minnie G. Fink, 659 Manhattan avenue, Brooklyn, secretary, and Alfred S. Sahadi, 677 Eighty-fifth street, Brooklyn, treasurer.
