A sensation was created on the campus of Syracuse University when Miss Pearle Judith Spiro, co-ed from West New York, N. J. , declined an invitation to act as one of the sponsors of the R. O. T. C. She said she was opposed to militarism.
Asked to reconsider, Miss Spiro proved adamant. She was commended by Deans Powers, Leebrick and Griffith. Miss Spiro is a senior who is preparing to study law.
