Rabbi Armond Cohen, formerly of the Jackson Heights, L. I. congregation, and graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary and the College of the City of New York, has been elected to take the place of Rabbi Harry S. Davidowitz on the pulpit of the Jewish Center during the latter’s one-year trip abroad.
Newly elected officers of the Center are: Henry A. Rocker, president; J. Bassichis, A. S. Goldman, Max L. Kohrman, and Herman Stein.
Rabbi Davidowitz will spend his leave of absence in Palestine.
