The World Conference of Jewish Organizations (COJO) will meet in plenary session in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 15 and 16, it was announced today. The meeting in the Hotel du Rhone will be attended by an estimated 75 delegates from COJO’s 11 participating organizations in North and South America. Europe, South Africa, Australia and Israel.
Dr. William Wexler of Savannah, Ga. chairman of COJO, will preside at the two-day session. The agenda includes a comprehensive exploration of recent developments affecting Soviet Jewry and a series of reports and analyses of the Middle East scene and the problem of alienation and assimilation among young Jews in the Western hemisphere.
