Col. Frederick F. Greenman of New York, vice-president of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and president of the New York Federation of Reform Synagogues, has been awarded the Legion of Merit following his preparation from the army after more than three years of service.

The Legion of Merit was presented to Colonel Greenman, in the Office of the foreign Liquidation Commissioner, for “outstanding service” to his country.
