Col. Herbert Lehman, Democratic ## for Lieutenant Governor of the State of New York is most probably elected to the post, according to incomplete returus available late yesterday afternoon.
Attorney General Albert Ottinger, Republican candidate for New York Governor seemed to have lost by a 37,600 plurality to Franklin D. Roosevelt, Democratic candidate.
With 995 districts missing, the total vote cast for Col. Herbert H. Lehman was 1,935,140 as against 1,790,839 for his opponent Charles C. Lockwood, giving him a plurality of 144,301. In New York City Col. Lehman piled up a vote of 1,166,773 as against 651,747 for Lockwood.
With 347 districts not yet reported, the vote for Governor was as follows: 2,077,673 for Roosevelt and 2,013,590 for Ottinger. The New York City vote was 1,122,493 for Roosevelt and 720,436 for Ottinger. Upstate, Mr. Ottinger has been averaging 76 votes ahead of Mr. Roosevelt in each district.
The election of Congressional candidates in New York City showed Samuel Dickstein, Democrat, re-elected over Samuel K. Beier, Republican; Jacob Rosenberg, Republican, defeated by Christopher D. Sullivan, Democrat; Dr. W. I. Sirovich, Democrat, re-elected wer Sol Ullman, Republican; Gabriel L. Kaplan, Republican, defeated by John J. Boylan, Democrat; Philip Berolzheimer, Republican, defeated by Ruth Pratt, Democrat; Bernard Katzen, Republican, defeated by John F. Carew, Democrat; Sol Bloom, Democrat, re-elected over David Steinhard, Republican; Sol. J. Dickheiser, Democrat, defeated by F. H. LaGuardia, Republican. In the Bronx Henry H. Spitz, Republican, was defeated by Frank Oliver, Democrat.
In Connecticut, Herman P. Koppelman who ran for Congress was defeated. In Atlantic City, N. J., Isaac Bacherach was re-elected to Congress. A. J. Sabath, Democrat, was re-elected in Illinois.
