Col. Sanctuary Writes Jewish Expose for ‘Spiritual Profits’

In a small office at 156 Fifth avenue a true friend of Jewry holds forth. He "personally" is not anti-Semitic. Some of his best friends are Jews. He is the anonymous author of a recently published volume exposing the insidious secrets of world Jewry and is an official of the World Alliance Against Jewish Aggressiveness, under whose sponsorship the book was published and placed in the hands of congressmen and others who might act upon the horrible Jewish excesses it reveals.

The gentleman is Colonel E. N. Sanctuary. The book is called "Are These Things So?"

Colonel Sanctuary gained his title as an officer in the American reserve forces. He has never been in the regular army, but at sixty and some odd years he retains the fine physical development of a soldier. Mentally, however, he leads a less violent life, and for years he has spent practically all his waking hours poring over musty volumes and current periodicals which reveal the diabolical historic and present day plans of the Jews for the overthrow of civilization.

Colonel Sanctuary, who deserves to share with Congressman McFadden that glorious title, Grand Old Man of Anti-Semitism, is a bibliophile, and as a result he commands such information on Semitism, including its Communist and other implications, as few persons outside the nuclear international Jewish command itself possess.

FRIEND OF EMERSON

The doughty colonel shares many of the views of an old acquaintance, Colonel Edwin Emerson, leader of the Friends of Germany, but he disclaims being a Nazi, as he contends Emerson appears to be. He is connected with Protestant activities, and his deep knowledge of present day Jewry finds expression both from the rostra of religious groups and through the media of a number of sect organs.

The World Alliance Against Jewish Aggressiveness is, as the phrase implies, worldwide in scope. Beyond this, however, Colonel Sanctuary will divulge no information regarding the high ideals and operations of the society, nor will he identify the good people devoting their lives to the noble cause of saving the world from the blight of Jewish aggressiveness.

He states that he has sent, in the name of the group, fifty copies of his most recent opus to Congressmen, and he indicated that other groups interested in having the government enlightened with regard to Jewish machinations have sent other copies to an enlarged circle of legislators.

The book required fourteen months to write, averaging about one page per day, and its publication was financed by the World Alliance A. J. A. When asked whether it was a work for love or profit, the colonel hotly denied the profit motive and gave assurances that such an undertaking could not reap other than spiritual profits.

The only advertising the book has had is a small leaflet on which the title of the book is given as: "Are These Things So? Being a Study in Modern Termites of the Homo Sapiens Type."

THE REVELATIONS

The pamphlet sets forth many startling exposures of Jewry including:

"Litvinoff has many aliases, that he has a criminal record, and that he had an active part in the cold-blooded official butchering of 2,000,000 Russians-

"That Karl Marx, in his Communist Manifesto of 1848, proposed to abolish such things as the home, religion, patriotism, morals, law, etc., and his program has been carried on mostly by members of a certain race now controlling the only country being run on Marx’s plan-

"Members of that race deposited large sums of money to the credit of Lenin and Comrade Trotsky for the specific purpose of overthrowing Russia-

"Mrs. Lee Tulin, daughter of Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, was reported by a New York daily on her return from Russia as having said, ‘The Russian Government has moved forward with a certain ruthlessness. But suffering is incidental and regretted by those who inflict it.’-

"And the evidence showing how the diabolical plan of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion is being fulfilled in 1934."

QUOTE ANTI-SEMITES

All these and many more equally startling things the colonel reveals in his expose. He has avidly pounced upon many public utterances of Jews condemning their race, and these statements appeal at length as the most brazen proof of Jewish ethical turpitude. In an interview he referred to the statements of a number of professional Jewish anti-Semites as crowning proof of his contentions.

Sanctuary does not admit being a member of any of the many anti-administration organizations which are springing up throughout the country, although it is known on good authority that he is an acquaintance of leaders in the Silver Shirt trade.

In his own words, Colonel Sanctuary was "inspired to reveal the disclosures embraced by ‘Are These Things So?’ It is an unbiased statement of historical facts, which allows people to draw their own conclusions as to the answers. I am personally not an anti-Semitic, except in the sense that I abhor ‘apostate Jews.’ Many crities have taken me to task for having been too mild with the Jews. Some of my best friends are Jews."

He is treasurer of the American European Fellowship, which is described as a missionary organization designed to send the truth to all parts of Europe.

"I am amazed at the efficiency of the Jewish religious and dietetic services on board the Cunard liner Berengaria," Frederick H. Samuel, travel correspondent for The London Jewish Chronicle, writes in a current article.

"There is no detail of the Cunard kosher service that is not actually and totally supervised by Dr. Hertz’s accredited representatives at London and Southampton," he continues. "The strictly conforming Jew can sit down at the Cunard dining tables in every class, first, tourist and third, with the easy conscience that in no way is he having a meal contrary to established traditional custom."
