Colonel Kisch Arrives in America Will Work for Jewish Agency and Keren Hayesod

Colonel Frederick H. Kisch, head of the political department of the Palestine Zionist Executive arrived in New York Wednesday on the “Olympic” for an extended visit to this country in the interest of the Jewish Agency.

Colonel Kisch was welcomed at the pier by a committee representing the Zionist Organization of America and the Keren Hayesod headed by Louis Lipsky, Chairman of the Zionist Organization. Morris Rothenberg, Chairman of the Board of the Keren Hayesod, and Miss Henrierta Szold. President of Hadassah. Other members of the Committee included Hermann Conheim, Treasurer of the Keren Hzyesod; Solomon J. Weinstein, President of the American Zion Commonwealth; Moe Turman, President of Young Judaea; Mrs. Richard Gottheil, President Keren Hayesod Women’s League; Senior Abel. Manager Director of the Jewish National Fund; Isaac Meister, Treasnrer of the Zionist Organization of America; Meyer W. Weisgal, Secretary of the Zionist Organization.

Colonel Kisch will devote himself in this country to the promotion of the organization of the American Branch of the Jewish Agency and will also participate in a number of Zionist and Keren Hayesod activities.
