Colonial Secretary Refuses to Increase Immigration Quota; Talks with Agency Aides Fail

In a conference yesterday with Colonial Secretary Arthur Creech-Jones, representatives of the Jewish Agency failed to secure his agreement to an increase in the Palestine immigration quota, it was learned today. Creech-Jones met with Mrs. Goldie Meirson and Berl Locker for 45 minutes, but the discussions were inconclusive.
