A fair employment practices bill which would extend to private employers engaged in public works anti-discrimination provisions of the 1951 fair employment laws, has been passed by the Colorado House of Representatives and is now pending in the State Senate.
The measure, which is in the Senate Labor Committee, also provides for establishment of a State anti-discrimination commission of seven members to be appointed by the governor.
