Commercial radio broadcasting has finally come to the Hebrew air waves. Kol Israel, the Israel Government-owned broadcasting system has set aside two hours a day for sponsored broadcasts. Advertisers may purchase ten-minute blocks of time. Full control over programing remains with the officials of the radio network.
