Creation of a commission of the faculty of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America to achieve closer relations between Jewish scholars in America and those in Palestine and Europe, was announced today by Dr. Louis Finkelstein, president of the Seminary.
Professor Saul Lieberman, a member of the commission, will leave for Palestine shortly to explore the possibilities of establishing a system of exchange professorships with various institutions of higher learning, particularly with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the announcement said.
