A library committee, formed to aid the library of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, will meet June 24, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, during the convention of the American Library Association, Dr. A.S.W. Rosenbach, president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University, announced today.
The committee is headed by Dr. Joshua Bloch, in charge of the Jewish division of the New York Public Library, and Mrs. Sophie A. Udin, research worker in bibliography, formerly associated with the university library. It will confine its activities to supplying the library’s needs for books and periodicals from America, and providing for acquisition of special collections.
