Committee Appointed by Palestine Government to Advise on Commerce

A commttee to advise the Government on matters of commerce and industry was appointed by the Palestine Government. The committee comprises the head of the Treasury Department, one of the directors of the Department of Trade and Agriculture and the assistant manager of the railway administration. The committee may coopt other members and will also seek the opinion of the public on the outstanding business questions of the country.

This move was intended to meet the public demand that the Palestine Government consult representatives of the population before promulgating trade logislation.
