Action of German Jewish Leaders Taken on Initiative of Dr. Motzkin (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The formation of a committee for the protection of Jewish minority rights in eastern and southern Europe was determined upon at a meeting of Jewish leaders in Germany.

The meeting, which was called at the initiative of Dr. Leo Motzkin. was attended by Professor Albert Einstein, Dr. Alfred Klee. Prof. Moritz Sohernheim, Dr. Max Soloweitschik, Dr. Nahum Goldman. Dr. Gronemann, Dr. A. Tscherikower. Dr. Rudel and others.

The Executive Committee of the National Minorities Congress, which met here yesterday sent a message signed by Deputy Wilfan leader of the Slovenian minority in the Italian parliament, to Deputy Isaac Grucubaum. The leader of the national minorities movement in Europe expressed his indignation at the attack upon Deputy Gruenbaum which is said to have been an attempt to terrorize him into abandoning his plan for forming a national minorities bloc in Poland.
