Committee Formed to Take Legal Action Against Anti-semitic Goglu Publications

At a representative conference of Jewish organizations held here a Committee was appointed to take immediate legal action against the anti-Semitic agitation and the ritual murder accusations levelled against the Jews by the Goglu publications.

The Committee, which was instructed to co-operate with the Canadian Committee, will also protest to the government which will be requested to take steps to curb the anti-Semitic incitement.

Speakers at the meeting stressed the danger to the Jewish community, if the agitation is permitted to continue.

Alderman Joseph Schubert spoke of the need for immediate action and stated that the influence of the Goglu publication has already reached many official circles. He declared himself personally ready to institute legal action against the papers. Other speakers included H. Wolofsky, Z. Rabinovitch, Rabbi Julius Berger, Alderman B. Schwartz.
