Foreign Minister Louis Barthou, who was slain Tuesday by an assassin, was the “champion and the defender of justice for persecuted races,” the Committee of Jewish Delegations declared here today in a message of condolence sent to Premier Gaston Doumergue.
The organization also sent a message of condolence to the Yugoslav legation here.
