The Senate Labor and Public Welfare Committee, ##n executive session this morning, decided to postopone consideration of the Ives##havez FEPC bill until next January, when it will be open for amendment by Committee ##embers, chairman Robert A. Taft, Republican of Ohio, announced at a press conference ##llowing the Committee’s session.Taft said the Committee had accepted the recommendation of the Subcommittee, ##aded by Senator Forrest C. Donnel, Missouri Republican, that the Subcommittee was a general agreement on the purposes of the bill, but could not agree on the “exact ##ms” of the measure, and that further study be given to the measure by the full committee.
