The Bernheim petition before the League of Nations Council at Geneva was discussed in the House of Commons this afternoon when Geoffrey Mander. National Labor member, inquired regarding the stand of the British representatives on the matter.
Sir John Simon, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, in reply gave a full description of the Council’s discussion, stressing particularly the declaration of Captain Anthony Eden, British representative, in support of the report submitted by Sean Lester, rapporteur on the question.
