Several of the East European Communist governments have been instructed to purge their foreign serviced of Jewish diplomats, the Daily Telegraph reports here today in a dispatch from Rome. The dispatch says this information came through diplomatic channels and that it agrees substantially with reports from Vatican quarters. The Telegraph report declares that Jewish diplomats from the satellite states who are now assigned to posts in the Western states and who have their families with them are likely to be the first recalled. The presence of their families outside their homelands, the Telegraph report says, places these diplomats–in the Cominform view–in a “favorable position for evasion.”
