The prediction that Israel will become a war front is made by the newspaper Scantea, official organ of the Communist Party of Rumania, which reached here today from Bucharest.
“Evidence that Israel will become a battleground is contained in the fact that the Americans are building a very important strategic highway from Istanbul to Cairo, passing through Israel,” the Communist paper writes. It attacks Zionist leaders in Rumania for “preventing Jewish working people from building a happy life alongside the Rumanian people.”
