Intensive studies in Biblical literature, “Jewish factors in economic life” and other subjects are included in the curriculum of the Jewish Institute of the Jewish Community Center here which opened this week.
Classes will be held on subjects including “Jews in the American Theatre”, “Critique of Modern Books with Jewish Content” and “Jewish Relationships with Other Peoples”. Members of the teaching staff include Rabbi Solomon Metz, a founder of the Institute Dr. Joel Seidman of Johns Hopkins University; Dr. Frank N. Trager, of Johns Hopkins and Ben Zion Emanuel of the Washington Talmud Torah.
