The Jewish workers are gradually losing interest in the Yiddish language, the paper declares.
William Shapiro, active Socialist leader and member of the Arbeiterung No. 3, died suddenly on Friday evening in New York, in the midst of a discussion on the labor question. He was sixty years old. Grief was manifested in labor circles over his sudden death.
