Vice Admiral Oscar Montes, the Foreign Minister of Argentina, expressed concern to Arab diplomats here over contacts between the Palestine Liberation Organization and Argentine terrorists. According to La Prensa, Montes summoned the Ambassadors of Syria and Algeria to discuss that subject and the general situation in the Middle East. The two envoys confirmed that Montes was disturbed by information about meetings between PLO representatives and leaders of terrorist groups in Argentina, La Prensa reported. The Foreign Minister received the Egyptian Ambassador separately but they refused to comment on the content of their meeting. There was no official information from the government. The meetings were held earlier this month.
