The tactics of the Revisionists in Palestine were condemned at the first regional conference of the National Labor Committee for Palestine held here Sunday with the participation of delegates from Washington, Baltimore, Wilmington, Chester, Allentown, Reading, Camden and Atlantic City.
Following an address delivered by Israel Mereminsky, Palestine Labor Delegate, the conference adopted a quota of $35,000 for the Gewerkschaften campaign. It also pledged itself to organize Leagues for Palestine in every city of the region.
Mr. Mereminski reviewed the present conditions in Palestine and called upon American Jewish labor to increase its activity in behalf of Palestine workers. Professor H. Fineman, who recently returned from Palestine, presided. Addresses were delivered by Dr. M. Kalisch of Philadelphia, Pincus Cruzo, New York and Dr. A. Dmonitz, Baltimore.
