Condoleezza Rice canceled an overseas tour because of concerns about Ariel Sharon’s health. The U.S. secretary of state was scheduled to leave this weekend for Indonesia and Australia. Concerns over Sharon’s health led Rice to change her plans to stay in Washington and maintain contact with Israel.
