Condoleezza Rice will meet with Israeli and Palestinian leaders. The U.S. secretary of state will travel this week to the Middle East to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. It is not clear yet whether the three will have a joint meeting. The Bush administration is pressing the sides to come up with the outlines of a final-status settlement ahead of a planned peace conference in November.
