Conference of Christian Churches to Be Held in Jerusalem

The negotiations between the Alexandrian Patriarch and the Jerusalem Patriarch resulted in sending a letter to the Patriarch of Constantinople, “Meraat-el-Sherk”, states, requesting him to send an invitation to all the Orthodox Churches to hold a general conference in Jerusalem. When the representatives of this Church arrive, they will send a general invitation to all the Christian Churches in the world to attend the conference.

The aims of this conference are: to deal with the question of the Eastern Calendar; to arrange the Orthodox. Patriarchate debts and to consider the question of marriage by the clergy.
